The Solar Forum (Foro Solar) organized by UNEF, the Spanish Solar (PV) Association, is an annual event that takes place in the city of Madrid during the month of October. After seven successful editions, it has become the biggest, most comprehensive event on solar energy in the Iberian peninsula, gathering around 800 people from more than 20 different countries. Two days of intense high-level networking with C-level executives from pioneer companies, developers, manufacturers, distributors and even public servants and decision makers from Spain, the European Union and world-wide.
The VIII Solar Forum will take place on the 19th and 20th of October 2021, on a hybrid physical and digital edition, in a centrally-located venue that provides perfect public transport connections as well as an open space to comply with the current health and safety regulations. The Auditorium of the “Fundación Pablo VI” will become the place-to-be for renewable energy professionals and enthusiasts, hosting more than a dozen round tables with leading experts that will address the hottest topics about the sector, focusing on the potential that solar energy has to reactivate the economy. Companies will have the opportunity to showcase their services and products at the “booths area”, providing firsthand information to visitors and attendees, networking tables will enable new agreements while the coffee-breaks, lunches and dinner will become the perfect places for a more relaxed debate.
The opening ceremony includes the participation of the Minister for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera along with many other high-ranked officials that draft energy policies that can positively impact your business.
Finally, for the first time this year, UNEF has developed the Solar Startup Award, a recognition of national companies that are developing innovative solutions, services or products in the solar PV sector.
