ICEX Spain Export and Investment together with the Commercial Office of Spain in Bogotá, in collaboration with the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia, organize this Conference that will be held on March 29 in a hybrid format:
It offers the possibility of knowing first-hand Colombia's strategy in relation to hydrogen between now and 2030 and exploring the possibilities of collaboration between Spanish and Colombian companies.
It is expected that by 2030 the country will have the capacity to develop between 1 and 3 gigawatts (GW) of electrolysis for the production of green hydrogen and will be able to produce at least 50 energy units (KT) of blue hydrogen per year.
Another objective is to reach 40% of low-emission hydrogen with respect to the total consumed in the industry, and deploy a fleet of between 2,500 and 3,500 vehicles mobilized from hydrogen.
To achieve this, the Government hopes to mobilize an investment of between USD 2.5 billion and USD 5.5 billion during the decade from 2020 to 2030, which will create between 7,000 and 15,000 jobs.
