The UNEF Quality Certification is a certification developed by UNEF that endorses the technical capabilities of an installer company and good practices in the design and execution of its installations.
It is aimed at companies installing rooftop photovoltaic self-consumption systems in Spain that wish to stand out for their quality and safety processes, as well as for the training of their installers.
Any company in the sector can apply for the UNEF Quality Certification, whether or not it is a UNEF member.
The UNEF Quality Certification consists of three phases:
The first phase consists of a training process for all the company's self-consumption installers. Once this first phase has been successfully completed, the company's technical capabilities will be assessed through an inspection of the company and one or more photovoltaic installations.
Once Phases 1 and 2 have been successfully completed, the certificate will be issued.

Once the certificate has been issued, it is valid for 3 years.
After this period, it must be renewed by completing the certification process again.
First, the installer company must check that it meets the requirements to apply for the Quality Certification, as set out in the following document:

Once these two steps have been completed, the APPLICATION FORM can be filled in and signed (A.1_Annex 1 – Installer company application to start the UNEF Quality Certification process), together with the corresponding online form.
