Although each case requires analysis, it is estimated that a photovoltaic installation could allow you to save around 50% and 70% per year on the price of the electricity bill. With the current cost of electricity, self-consumption installations in homes and warehouses can be considered paid in just five years.

In this sense, Royal Decree 477/2021 approved the granting of 660 million euros (expandable to 1,320 million) to the autonomous communities and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla in aid for the execution of various incentive programs linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR).

In this talk, we will analyze the aid available depending on the beneficiary and the type of installation with real cases of municipalities that applied these solutions and find out what the savings and benefits obtained were:

  • Learn about the calls for aid available within the Recovery Funds of the European Union and how to access them.
  • Learn with case studies, how solar self-consumption can be adapted to different needs of your business to move towards a 100% renewable model.
  • Analyze the decarbonization opportunity of the Spanish real estate and business segments, and learn about the role played by solar panels and other important equipment such as inverters and storage systems.
