A new edition of the UNEF Self-Consumption Summit is now underway, one of the sector’s reference events in 2026. The event will take place in Madrid and will bring together key stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the development of self-consumption in Spain.

The 6th Self-Consumption Summit will address the role of self-consumption in the current energy context, marked by the revision of the regulatory framework, the electrification of demand, and the integration of new solutions such as distributed storage and digitalisation.

Throughout the day, the following strategic areas will be discussed, among others:

Regulation and processing of self-consumption. Subsidies vs. tax incentives.
Quality of installations.
Industrial & utility self-consumption.
Collective self-consumption and energy communities.
Opportunities for storage: flexibility and new models.
