Solar Forum: The Unmissable Event for the Photovoltaic Sector

Less than three weeks remain until Spain’s premier annual event for the photovoltaic sector, the Solar Forum, organized by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF), which will take place on October 15 and 16 at the Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center.

Now in its twelfth edition, the Solar Forum will once again bring together leading public decision-makers and the main companies in the sector for two full days addressing the most pressing topics in the solar industry.

Main themes on the first day will include the current state of self-consumption, new regulations and strategies for promoting it; energy storage as a key element for network stability and profitability; the role of photovoltaics in the country’s industrial development; alternative project financing; and upcoming technological trends. The day will also feature a special address by Alberto Nadal, the new Deputy Secretary of Economy for the People’s Party, who will outline the energy policy proposed by the main opposition party.

In addition, UNEF members attending the 12th Solar Forum will have access to a parallel session: “Dialogues with Marta Morera on Regulation and Administrative Processing in Catalonia.”

On the second day, the congress will delve deeper into the prospects for manufacturing in Europe, market developments and financing options, social acceptance and territorial integration, behind-the-meter storage, and the integration and role of photovoltaics in grids, planning, and grid-forming. The day will also feature special presentations, including one by Beatriz Corredor, President of Redeia.

The Most Valued Networking Event in the Photovoltaic Industry

Networking opportunities at the Solar Forum will once again be a key highlight of the event. Lunches, coffee breaks, a cocktail reception, the Start-Up Solar and PHOTOvoltaica Awards ceremony, and parallel sessions will allow the more than 1,000 expected attendees to connect directly with key decision-makers, collaborators, and clients.
